This week sees the Knesset discussion of the Chairman of the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee MK David Rotem 's proposal to amend the Basic Law that requires members of Knesset to swear allegiance by stating, "I swear to remain loyal to the State of Israel and to faithfully fulfill my mission in the Knesset."
