Danny Ayalon's years of diplomatic experience have taught him much about the best way to advocate Israel’s cause before the world.  This week, Danny appeared on Tuesday Night Live, the only Jewish television program broadcast around the world (we will soon have a link to the episode). 

     He explained that political correctness had no place in Israeli diplomacy.  Danny eloquently asserted, “A threat to the Jewish people is a threat to the world.”  He sees the mission of securing the safety of Israeli citizens as a “responsibility not just to ourselves but to all of humanity.”

     The world is involved in no less than a struggle against radical Islam’s war to restore the Caliphate of the Middle Ages.  it is time to speak out against the “naïve view that Israel is the source of all the unrest in the Middle East,” said Ayalon. On the contrary, Israel is defending the West on the frontlines.  Hamas, Hizballah, and, of course, Teheran are threats to us all. 

     Today, during the military operation in Gaza, Israel must confidently declare the justice of her right to defend her citizens.  Articulate and assured politicians are needed to present Israel’s case to the world. Danny Ayalon is such a man.
