MK David Rotem was born in Jerusalem in 1949. MK Rotem currently lives in Efrat and is married with five children.  MK Rotem holds an LLB from the Hebrew University and has been a lecturer in law at Bar Ilan University.  MK Rotem is one of the strongest supporters of the rights of settlers, and has defended their cause in the court system countless times. MK Rotem has been a lecturer in Law at Bar Ilan University and a member of many philanthropical institutions including the Active Committee of Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.  He has been a Member of Knesset since 2006.
