Yitzhak Aharonovitch was born in Jerusalem in 1950. He currently lives in Even Yeudah and is married with four children and holds a BA in economics from Haifa University. Yitzhak is reserve deputy general in the IDf and has spent much of his professional life in the police force, making him an expert on security issues. During his career as a police officer, Yitzhak served as commander of the Border Police Unit, commander of police force in Judea and Samaria, commader of the southern region. Yitzhak served as director of the Police Force from 2002-2004. After leaving the police, Yitzhak became the director of Dan Transport. In 2006, he became an Israel Beytenu Member of Knesset and has served in many different capacities: - deputy minister to the Chair of the Knesset
