    Danny Ayalon Talks Straight

Danny Ayalon's years of diplomatic experience have taught him much about the best way to advocate Israel’s cause before the world.  This week, Danny appeared on Tuesday Night Live, the only Jewish television program broadcast around the world (we will soon have a link to the episode).       He explained that political correctness had no place in Israeli diplomacy.  Danny eloquently asserted, “A threat to the Jewish people is a threat to the world.”  He sees the mission...

INSTALL A ROCKET WARNING SYSTEM AT THE NITZANIM BASE, NOW!

The latest Blog entry is from Beytenu Candidate Danny Hershtal                              I just heard that a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip has landed near the Nitzanim training base, located between Ashkelon and Ashdod.I was shocked to hear that, even though an early warning system has already been installed in Ashdod, there is no warning system at the Nitzanim base. Teamwork in Africa and at Home (22.12.09)

A few days ago, without much media fanfare, the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, signed a partnership agreement with the United Nations Development Program to support developing countries, mainly in Africa.  Fantastic! Wow! This is one of the reasons why we have a Jewish State – to contribute to the world around us!  Here at Yisrael Beytenu, we’re thrilled and offer our best wishes for tremendous success.  But we have one wish to tack on to this compassionate undertaking – if only we could bottle the positive...

    Kassams and Dangerous Driving (17.12.09)

We would have wanted to launch the YB Blog with something more upbeat, but alas events in the South force us to focus on some grim realities.  The entire country was shocked by the grisly accident on the road to Eilat two days ago.  As soon as the awful news reached the YB headquarters, our members of Knesset rushed to the hospitals to visit the injured and offer their help.  MK Sofa Landver was visibly moved when a seriously injured woman who could not speak wrote on a small note, "Thank you for coming"....
