Lieberman: Freeze to End on Time
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman spoke with his British counterpart William Hague and stressed that Israel's government will not extend the 10-month ban on Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria when it expires on September 26. During a meeting in Jerusalem on Monday between Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon and the governor of China's Heilongjiang Province, Mr. Du Jiahao, Israel and China signed an agricultural cooperation agreement.The agreement, which involves MASHAV - Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation Israel, will see the two countries cooperating in terms of assistance in constructing demonstration dairy farms. On 30 August, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon met with Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Japan in Jerusalem. They discussed the peace process, regional issues and bilateral cooperation. DFM Ayalon: Gol's comments spot-on re Portuguese invitation to Iranian FM
