MK Anastassia Michaeli supports the Knesset Education and Culture Committee's Committee's commitment to bring our schools up to date with 21st century changes in technology.  "Our school children need an education that will help them become the next leaders in the fields of science and technology. I am pleased that the Knesset has taken this goal seriously," said Anastassia.
    "At the same time," advised Anastassia, "we have to take measures to prevent our children from spending class time on social websites and teach them about safe web-surfing."
    Discussion on computers in the class did not distract Anastassia from her goal of establishing a book-borrowing scheme in every school to relieve parents of the significant expense of buying books. "Free education for all as a governmental goal must include the cost of school books," concluded Anastassia.
