A law giving family members of victims of Arab terror the same rights as those granted to IDF widows and orphans passed the Knesset on its first vote Tuesday night unopposed. The law includes a stipulation that victims' families receive a day off from work in memory of their loved ones, at state expense.

Beytenu MK Fania Kirschenbaum, author of the law, said that the law "corrected a moral wrong that has gone on for years."
