Public Safety Minister Yitzchak Aharonovich said Thursday evening that "if the government does not find the right formula, the treasury will simply weaken the fight against crime and police officers will fold before crime organizations."

He said he would dig in and hoped for better news in the morning regarding police and jailer salaries in the 2011-12 budget.
