The Knesset plenum passed in preliminary reading a bill which supports a personal preemptive program for sex offenders, which will include drug treatment suppressing sexual impulses. Forty-two MKs voted in favor of the bill, proposed by Moshe Matalon.  The bill met with no objections.
According to the bill, a court will approve the plan according to an evaluation of the offender and subject to his consent.
